The golf game
Today, Faz and Arlene went golfing.
The weather was excellent and the golfing was free - which made for a great opportunity. Faz had never actually been golfing ever before in his life, but he kept his score in line with everyone else who played. The average was a little higher than expected (8 strokes on a par 3, if that makes any sense), but the group had a wonderful time.
"The balls kept going in every direction, except the direction that I wanted. I even lost one to a small cave in the middle of the course. Stupid cave." were Arlene's comments just before Faz piped up with "Before I came here, I knew that golfing wasn't going to be my game. Now I'm Vijay Singh and I have become the finest bat-and-stick-ball player of all time". Before long, Faz expects to be on the PGA championship tour.
Arlene expects to laugh hysterically at Faz's attempt, secure in the knowledge that Faz really isn't so good at golf.
